Three Santa Clause movies it was not enough. Now, almost two decades after the third release, Disney is bringing back the holiday jokes he has a smaller Disney + series. Tim Allen will resume his role like Santa in the story looking for a new Santa to cross the sleigh again.
First Santa Clause was released in 1994 and was about a man named Scott Calvin (Allen) who accidentally killed Santa and was brought to the North Pole – where he was found “he is responsible for taking this responsibility. Hence, the Santa “Clause.” At first she hates it but in the end she hugs her new position, which only strengthens her relationship with her children. Two sequels were released in 2002 and 2006 to minimize the effects, adding new twists and turns into Santa lore.
A new series of smaller ones is starting now. Scott, in his 60’s, does not look as good as Santa did, and as his family grows, he realizes that he has to get even with them. So he starts looking for a good dad and finds a new Santa.
Jack Burditt, who previously worked 30 Rock, Modern Family, Frasier, and Kimmy Schmidt unbreakable, he is a great designer and producer. The filming begins in March. Whether or not movie characters (is played by the preferences of David Krumholtz, Aisha Tyler, Kevin Pollak, Judge Reinhold, etc.) will return unknown. But Allen is, apparently, a big name and a star so if he comes back, the problem is that Disney is looking to bring back as many people as possible to make the list match to the movies. Which, honestly, is good-than-almost Christmas movies. When a the second is not the same as the first, Allen is a favorite every personality associated with Disney magic has always been a solid combination.
There is no word for it Name of Santa Claus will be on the streamer but, if production starts in March, it seems likely the studio will try to get out during the holidays.
