Samsung’s Exynos 2200 mobile processor uses an AMD ray tracing GPU

Samsung has revealed about Exynos 2200, its first mobile processor with an AMD RDNA 2-powered GPU that would allow ray exploration and other games. The system-on-chip (SoC) will probably be available in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22, rumors that it will have an unreleased event on February 8th.

The Exynos 2200 with AMD “Xclipse” GPU will be developed on Samsung’s 4-nanometer EUV processor. “Samsung’s Xclipse GPU is the first product of several generations of pre-designed AMD RDNA graphics in Exynos SoCs,” said AMD VP Senior David Wang.
